Hybrid Products Now Live on Vendlinx

You can now sell hybrid products on Vendlinx: offer your audience a digital copy, a physical copy, or both in one place. One product page, one checkout, and the right price and delivery flow for each choice.

What Are Hybrid Products?

A hybrid product is a single listing that gives buyers more than one way to buy:

  • Digital only – Instant access to the digital product (download or use online).
  • Physical only – A hard copy delivered to their address (when you offer physical delivery).
  • Bundle – Digital access plus a physical copy, often at a combined price.

Buyers choose the option that fits them; you manage one product and one storefront.

Why It Matters for Creators

  • One product, multiple offers – No need to create separate “digital” and “physical” products. Set your digital price, physical price, and bundle price (if you want) and let customers pick.
  • Clear checkout – When someone selects a physical or bundle option, the checkout form asks for delivery details (phone, address, city, state) and optional notes. For digital-only, they only enter email and name.
  • Order summary before pay – Buyers see the option they chose, the price, and (for physical/bundle) where it will be delivered before they click Pay.
  • Post-purchase clarity – Success page, receipt, and download page all show what they bought (e.g. “Digital only”, “Physical to [address]”, or “Bundle – digital + physical”).

What Buyers See

  1. Product page – If you offer more than one option, they see a clear selector (e.g. Digital only, Physical only, Bundle) with the price for each. If you only offer one option (e.g. digital only), they go straight to checkout with no extra step.
  2. Delivery note – When they select physical or bundle, a short note explains that delivery details will be collected at checkout.
  3. Checkout – Email, name, and confirm email for everyone. For physical or bundle, additional fields: phone, address line 1, city, state, and optional delivery name, address line 2, and notes.
  4. After payment – A success message that matches their purchase type (digital ready, order confirmed for physical, or both for bundle). Receipt and download pages also show a one-line summary of what they bought.

How to Use It

Hybrid products use the same product page and checkout you already have. In Vendlinx Studio, when you set up or edit a product:

  • Turn on physical delivery if you want to offer hardcopy or bundle.
  • Set digital price, physical (hardcopy) price, and/or bundle price as needed.

The storefront then shows the right options and collects the right details (including delivery address when required) before payment.
