Your Vendlinx account is linked to your earnings and payouts. A transaction PIN adds an extra layer of security so only you can confirm sensitive actions—like withdrawing money to your bank account. Here’s what it is, why it matters, and how to use it.

What Is a Transaction PIN?

A transaction PIN is a short, secret code (like the PIN you use at an ATM) that you set in your account. Vendlinx may ask for it when you do things that move or expose your money—for example.

Why Use a Transaction PIN?

• Protect payouts: Only someone who knows your PIN can approve withdrawals from your Vendlinx balance to your bank.
• Limit damage if someone gets into your account: If your password is ever compromised, your earnings are still protected until the PIN is entered.
• Peace of mind: You know that sensitive money actions require a second step only you can provide.

How It Works on Vendlinx

1. Set your PIN in your account settings (in Vendlinx Studio). Choose something you’ll remember but that others can’t guess—avoid birthdays or obvious sequences.
2. When you perform a sensitive action (such as requesting a payout), you’ll be prompted to enter your transaction PIN.
3. If you enter the wrong PIN too many times, your PIN may be temporarily locked to prevent guessing. You can then use the PIN reset flow (e.g. via email OTP) to set a new PIN once the lockout period has passed.
4. If you forget your PIN, use the Reset PIN option in settings. You’ll typically receive a one-time code (e.g. by email) that expires after a short time; enter it to set a new PIN.

Tip: Don’t share your transaction PIN with anyone. Vendlinx will never ask for it by email or phone.

Best Practices

• Use a unique PIN: Don’t reuse the same PIN you use for your bank card or other services.
• Don’t share it: No legitimate support team will ask for your PIN.
• Set it early: Turn on your transaction PIN as soon as you start earning so payouts are protected from day one.
